The Beginnings

We felt there was a gap in the market for a quality yoghurt with good provenance and a clean ingredients list. Our first batch was made in small pans on the Aga. After tweaking our method we reached a unique style of yoghurt that we loved the taste and texture of. The fact that our yoghurt is low fat, a great source of protein, calcium and gut-friendly bacteria, was all just a bonus!

At Stamfrey Farm we make the most of the natural energy systems. Our cows are managed on only grass, clover and organic feed, with much of the farms electricity demand supplied through a solar PV system. Success relies on the sunlight.
